Probably the largest and best Subs I have had in sometime. Well with the try. Just remember to be hungry.
Always great, always call first. Steak and cheese sub is my favorite. It's hard to find parking the first time you go; the second time is easy. By the time you notice this place, you've passed it. It's worth a circle back.
So good! The Italian sub is the best - we get them "all the way" though occasionally they put a little bit too much shredded lettuce on them. Bread and other ingredients are awesome. This place is an institution, still going strong after the hurricane and always clean, respectful and prompt!
I'll give it 5 /5 for food. Great subs in excellent t bread. Friendly and engaging staff, very proud of what they're doing. Definitely comes under the "dive" heading, which is fine by me. Only downer was Fox News on the tv spewing hate. That's just me. I'm a lover not a fighter. But The Bronx Bomber is worth a little angst.
You definitely will not be disappointed. everybody there is very friendly and eager for you to try different sandwiches. I highly recommend giving it a try.
Food is amazing. Place is very clean and John is really nice, he takes pride in his place and his food quality. You won't be disappointed!!
As others have said, the cheesesteaks are great here. And as others have also said, the owner is a bit surly - reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with the "soup nazi". The cheesesteaks are enough to bring me back.
